چکیده

Objectives The aim was to analyse the outcomes of early implant placement after 6 and 12 weeks healing in ridge preserved sites a canine model. Materials methods Implants were placed second maxillary incisors 9 dogs grafting sockets with 90% deproteinized bovine bone mineral 10% collagen matrix (DBBMC) closure resorbable type I/III porcine (PCM). implants randomly assigned (T6) (T12) healing. Results percentage bone-to-implant contact (%BIC), old bone, new residual DBBMC similar between T6 T12. In relation shoulder (IS), original crest (IS-ROB) more apical on buccal than palatal side. regenerated (IS-C) IS-ROB groups. However, distance from IS first bone-to (IS-fBIC) significantly less T12 compared (p = .022; Wilcoxon signed-rank test). bucco-palatal dimensions similar. Conclusions This study confirms that can successfully be incisor are osseointegrated by weeks. There lower IS-fBIC values at aspect. underwent greater corono-apical resorption crest. %BIC, relative proportions mineralized tissues alveolar demonstrated stability

Factors influencing ridge alterations following immediate implant placement into extraction sockets.

AIM To identify factors that may influence ridge alterations occurring at the buccal aspect of the extraction site following immediate implant placement. MATERIAL AND METHODS In 93 subjects, single-tooth implants were placed immediately into extraction sockets in the maxilla (tooth locations 15-25). A series of measurements describing the extraction site were made immediately after implant in...

Surgical protocols for early implant placement in post-extraction sockets: a systematic review.

OBJECTIVES The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the best timing for placing implants after tooth extraction, by comparing early vs. delayed implant placement and evaluating the hard and/or soft tissue ridge dimensional changes and the outcomes related with implant survival and prosthesis success. MATERIAL AND METHODS An online search of the main databases including The National L...

Diagnosis and treatment of extraction sockets in preparation for implant placement: report of three cases.

This article addresses diagnostic parameters that should be assessed in the treatment of extraction sockets with dental implant placement by presenting three case reports that emphasize the relevance of the amount of remaining bone walls. Diagnosis was based on the analysis of clinical and radiographic parameters (e.g.: bone defect morphology, remaining bone volume, presence of infections on th...

Bone modelling at fresh extraction sockets: immediate implant placement versus spontaneous healing: an experimental study in the beagle dog.

OBJECTIVES The purpose of this investigation is to describe histologically the undisturbed healing of fresh extraction sockets when compared to immediate implant placement. METHODS In eight beagle dogs, after extraction of the 3P3 and 4P4, implants were inserted into the distal sockets of the premolars, while the mesial sockets were left to heal spontaneously. Each animal provided four socket...

Outcome after placement of tantalum porous engineered dental implants in fresh extraction sockets: a canine study.

PURPOSE This study evaluated the stability and histologic proof of osseoincorporation of Trabecular Metal (TM) dental implants, which feature a tantalum-based porous midsection. MATERIALS AND METHODS A total of 48 TM implants (test group) and Tapered Screw-Vent implants (control group) were immediately placed bilaterally into mandibular extraction sockets in dogs. Resonance frequency analysis...
